CBI searches against Lalu Prasad Yadav & his wife at multiple locations, registers fresh cases

NEW DELHI:

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a new corruption case against veteran leader and RJD chief Lalu Yadav and raided at least 17 locations linked to the leader, including premises of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Delhi and Patna.

The CBI has reportedly accused Yadav of a recruitment scam during his tenure as the railway minister in the UPA government.

Yadav, , who has been convicted in multiple fodder scam cases over the last five years, had allegedly taken land from aspirants for granting them jobs in railway.

The CBI has filed the case against Yadav, Rabri Devi and daughters Misa and Hema. Meanwhile, reacting on twitter RJD called the CBI caged parrot.
