NEW DELHI: CCTV footage has emerged that shows actress Sonali Phigatb was being forced to “some substance”on the dance floor hours before her death.
The man in the video appears to be Sudhir Sangwan has been arrested. According to police “CCTV recordings of relevant premises were examined by the Investigating Officer, and it was found that Sudhir was forcefully making Sonali to drink the alleged liquid in a water bottle,”
Her brother Rinku Dhaka had filed a complaint against the two men at Anjuna Police Station on Wednesday
Talking to media persons, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had on Thursday said that state Director General of Police Jaspal Singh was personally monitoring the investigation. The autopsy was earlier scheduled on Wednesday, but Phogat’s brother claimed she was murdered by two of her associates and the family would agree to autopsy only after an FIR was registered against them.
Talking to a news channel, her brother demanded CBI probe, saying that BJP Leader Sonali Phogat was murdered.
