India beat Australia by 6 wickets to level series 1-1

Nagpur: India won the second T20 match against Australia by six wicket on Friday.

Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten 46 and Dinesh Karthik 10 run in just two balls in last over sealed the match for India.

The match was delayed due to wet outfield. The match was then reduced to eight-overs-per-side and India opted to bowl first after winning the toss at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.

Earlier, Adam Zampa struck thrice in two overs, dismissing KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, in the same over.

Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade’s power-hitting steered Australia to 90 for five in a rain-hit match. Axar Patel took three wickets while Jasprit Bumrah claimed one, restricting the opponent at 90 for five in eight over.
