Admissions open for 7,373 seats at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University; 4 new undergraduate degree programs launched.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University announced admissions to undergraduate and diploma programs for the second academic year (2022-2023). Addressing the representatives from media, campus directors and other dignitaries present, Prof. (Dr.) Neharika Vohra, Vice Chancellor, DSEU shared “It is heartening to share that the University has had a successful year with the first batch of students admitted in both diploma and degree programs.

“To ensure an enhanced hands-on-learning experience for all the students and facilitate their introduction to the industry in their domain, we have had 120+ industry integrated activities, around 50 industry talks/seminars and more than 20 industry visits for the students,” she said.

For the second academic year of the University, the skill varsity has opened admissions for 15 Full Time Diploma programs, 2 Part time Diploma programs and 16 Undergraduate programs (except B.Tech.) and for the Advance Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics along with Lateral entry to the B.Tech. programs and 5 Postgraduate programs. Amongst the 16 Undergraduate programs, the University has added 4 new flagship programs – B. Library Sciences, B. Optometry, B.Sc. Hospital Management, BBA Automotive Retail Management.

“We at DSEU welcome students from all walks of life, and assure that no eligible candidate shall be denied admission due to economic barriers and social barriers. Over 500 scholarships have been provided to students in the last year and likewise the University shall ensure more scholarships for students looking to join the University this year. In addition to this, special scholarships for women candidates are also being introduced, to reduce the gender gap in higher education.” said VC, DSEU.

Sharing details she further added “A total of 7,373 seats are being offered for admissions in this admission cycle, including 4,960 for Diploma and 2,265 Undergraduate programs and 148 Postgraduate programs . The programs are being offered in 19 campuses across Delhi, which includes 3 new campuses – Dr. H.J. Bhabha DSEU Mayur Vihar Campus, Sir C.V. Raman DSEU Dheerpur Campus and Centre for Healthcare, Allied Medical and Paramedical Sciences DSEU Okhla-II Campus.”

The University also welcomed students joining the inaugural batch for the newly launched programs – B.Sc  in Emergency Medical Technology, B.Sc  in Dialysis Technology at Centre for Healthcare, Allied Medical and Paramedical Sciences DSEU Okhla-II Campus today.
