Salman Rushdie Attacked

Rushdie’s book “The Satanic Verses” has been banned in Iran since 1988, as many Muslims consider it to be blasphemous. Iran’s late leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini had issued a fatwa calling for Rushdie’s death.
