Amid the boycott bollywoood call, Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger crashed on its second day, collecting Rs. 9.25 crores, for a two-day total of Rs. 28.25 crores at the Indian box office.

The movie star Deverakonda was expected to be turned out a savior from boycott call but the performance of the movie has been very disappointing in the first weekend.

The drop from opening day was 52 per cent. The movie collected Rs. 19 cr on Thursday, 9.25 crores on Friday, totaling – Rs. 28.25 crores.

The film was promoted by its actors, Deverakonda and Ananya Panday very aggressively across India over the past few months. The movie got very bad review with some of rated it one star saying that the movie is unwatchable.
