Mumbai: A video in which a woman can be seen being helpless after she was being pushed and slapped by activists of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has gone viral.
The woman identified as Prakash Devi who had objected to a pole being installed for publicity boards by the party workers led by Vinod Argile on August 28 this year in Mumbai.
Although, people intervened and pulled Argile away from her but he continued with the assault, slapping, pushing her. Following the uproar on social media, police have registered a case three days after the assault.
The action will be taken soon in the matter, police said.
