AAP Blames Delhi’s Ex-LG for Huge Loss under New Liquor Policy, seeks CBI probe

NEW DELHI: The AAP government Saturday accused Delhi former Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal saying that he had unexpectedly changed his stance on opening of liquor shops in unauthorised areas.

Addressing the media, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the cabinet’s policy was earlier cleared by former LG but the decision was later revoked leding to losses worth thousands of crores. “Why was this decision taken? I hope the CBI carries out a fair probe,” he asked ?

However, Amit Malviya, Member of National Executive (BJP) said that Sisodia did press conference to defend himself in the massive Liquor Excise scam in Delhi just shows that he knows that the noose is tightening around him.
