Hero Asia Cup 2022: India Beat Indonesia 16-0, Qualify For Super 4s

NEW DELHI:

Defending champions India displayed a magnificent show on Thursday beating the hosts Indonesia 16-0 to advance to the knockout stage of the Hero Asia Cup 2022 to qualify for the Super 4s of the Hero Asia Cup 2022.

Inexperienced Indian side led by veteran Sardar Singh surprised the opposition by their splendid performance. India fielded comparatively a young team in the tournament alongside a handful of seniors like Birendra Lakra and S.V. Sunil, who came out of retirements.

“Magnificent game for #MenInBlue as they mark a big win against Indonesia at the Hero Asia Cup 2022 to qualify for the Super 4s of the Hero Asia Cup 2022!,” Hockey India tweeted just after Indian secured the match by huge margin.
