NEW DELHI: A much hyped surrounded by boycott call of Amir Khan starer movie Laal Singh Chaddha which released in the theatres Thursday failed to attract audiences to the multiplexes as its total collection stood at Rs 45 Crore in five days.

According to the sources close to Bollywood, distributors have asked for monetary compensation after the movie failed to perform.

The movie Laal Singh Chaddha stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in the lead has drew an ire of public due to his old statement regarding indolence in the country. Netzines have given boycott call and it seems to have yielded results with vacant seats reported in multiplexes.

A twitter user ‘Ek Bharatiya’ has tweeted “#LaalSinghChaddhaReview The movie is soft towards Pakistani infiltrators during the unlawful Pakistani annexation of Kargil while mocking and questioning Indian Army’s recruitment process.,”

#OneWordReview#LaalSinghChaddha : UNBEARABLE. Rating: one star. A golden opportunity miss. Even #AmirKhan star-power cannot save this ship from sinking… EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT. #LaalSinghChaddhaReview,” Taran Adarsh tweeted.
